Ok. Travelling is not a pretty thing. I resemble a medieval crone. My hair won’t behave, so much so I’m actually missing my staightners and my skin has decided to have world war three and mostly on my face. If you care about your looks people this is not the thing for you. Any way, just a minor issue.

Busan was nice. We stayed with an awesome girl called Rachel. She took us out round the town at night and we met some of her friends. The pub we went to had an open mic night and one of the singers was amazing. See video.

Pete once sang the blues to a pigmy goat.

The next night we visited a guy who was very nice but very quiet. He had his own tattoo parlour in his apartment. Apparently this guy was also in the mafia which gave him a lot of respect and a lot of presents too. Mostly soft drinks.

On to Seoul. Very busy and lively place. People everywhere. Met up with a guy called Jun. He took us out on a typical night in Seoul. Firstly, went to a square where many people were hanging out, playing bongos and chatting. The western guys around there were very drunk and very rude to the locals. Made me quiet angry. Jun told us people are used to it now so it doesn’t other them that much. Still, assholes.

I met one of the campest people who had some beautiful nails, varnished and everything. But he chatted to me about his ex girlfriend and now I’m confused. These guys were very interested in George’s tattoos and were seeing if they came off. Also interested in my hair and said it was nice. Contradicts what I thought about it originally.

We all went off to a club after and pretty much danced the night away. On comes the cocktails and this is after some soju – don’t think it’s spelt like that – the traditional drink of Korea. Tastes like vodka. Not for me. I think it was about 6am when we chilled out in a bar with an open window looking out on the street. This followed shortly with a taxi. I was told the next day I was shouting at some sleeping people on the street. Oh dear that’s embarrassing. The guys said it wasn’t that bad though. Heh.

Next day was deleted from my life. I realise a few things which I should know already. Make sure you eat before you drink and don’t mix your drinks. Got up at 9. And that was 9pm. To be fair though I wasn’t the only one and have been told by a few other people that I have experienced a typical night in Seoul.

Met a lovely Korean lady who while I was feeling rough, massaged my hands and told me to come over to her house and have some honey tea. Really sorted me out.

So I’ve decided to go it alone from now on. I’m in Incheon about to get my ferry ticket to China. Staying with Tory and a couple of ferrets. Not much to do here but I’m going to a few recommended places that may be of interest.

Just a note the weather here is crazy rain showers.
